ABOUT LEAN ON ME
In March 2018, April Townsend embarked on a two-month sabbatical following 20+ years in the same field. While she had every intent to return to healthcare, she stumbled upon a different calling. April discovered that she was able to say “yes!” to helping friends, neighbors and fellow parents who needed help with errands and projects. Furthermore, this work was incredibly fulfilling to her both personally and professionally. While driving one day, the famous song “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers came on the radio. As April listened, the lyrics captured the very essence of what she wanted her business to be:
Some times in our lives we all have pain, we all have sorrow
But if we are wise, we know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend; I'll help you carry on…

PET CARE
Lean on Me knows that fur-kids need special love and care, too! April and her children take pride in being a pet-loving home alternative to traditional kennels. Please note: we only accept one family (up to two large dogs) for care in our home at a time.

Are you out of fresh ideas for dinner or just want to take a break from having to plan every meal? Lean on Me will first schedule a meeting with you, at no charge, to discuss your family's dietary preferences, needs, and budget. You can customize the days of the week, which meal, and whether or not you want to shop for ingredients and/or cook the meal.
ERRANDS
We all have a seemingly endless list of errands that vary week to week and season to season. Use Lean on Me to minimize your list, and spend quality time doing the things you enjoy.

Lean on Me charges an hourly rate for non-pet care services payable with weekly invoices.
Non-pet care services can be combined and packaged in ways that best fit your needs and budget. Don't hesitate to contact April with specific questions and concerns.
